Affectionately known as RADAR it was the annual outing to visit our club.
We met them at the station and went in a convoy to the Botanical Gardens precinct with the Honda Goldwing motorcycle leading the way and Daphne, an adventurous lady from Rocky riding behind (and we have it on good authority that her husband "is allowed to get one of those"!
First there was a delicious morning tea at Cafe 1928 and once all these amateurs got together chatting it was a job to drag them away to continue the day's itinerary.
We toured the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, a new museum dedicated to Bundaberg's famous aviation pioneer, Bert Hinkler.
After a leisurely stroll through the interesting displays we made our way to the RSL club for a lunch and extended chat.
Then it was back to the railway station for their return trip.
